I saw something on Amazon the other day that intrigued me. It was a cover that you put over your car’s windshield. When it snows you can then just pull the cover off, shake it clean, fold it up and throw it in your car and be on your way. Out in South Dakota we have no garage. We do, however, have lousy winter weather!

The more I thought about this product the more I wondered if Paula would use it. Would it become too much of a hassle to put it on every night when you get home? Would it be something that you would often forget to do? I came to the conclusion that I better talk to her and see what she thinks before I spend the $17.

Think about how great it is to know that you do not have to work to cover your sins every day! God has removed our iniquity and covered our sins for us as Psalm 85 tells us. He did it because of his unfailing love, not because we remembered to do something. Jesus’ holiness covers us. The guilt of our sin has been removed because the Spirit gave us faith in Jesus. That is something to celebrate! Join us at worship on Thursday or Sunday as we rejoice together!
