The Lord led Jacob Geidel to accept the call to teach grades 5-6 at MZL next year. God also led Hillary Geidel to accept the call to teach 4K-5K at MZL next year. The Geidels are married and presently teach at Zion Lutheran School, Rhinelander, WI. Please pray for God’s blessings on Zion Lutheran School, Rhinelander! 

Last Week we had 235 worship in person and 42 online. That is 37.% of our membership. Please encour-age your brothers and sisters in Christ to stay close to Jesus through faithful use of Word and sacraments! 

2022 International Youth Rally will be held June 28-July 1 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Registration date at Morrison is February 15. Early-bird registration is $375. Morrison Zion will pay all travel costs. Those who missed out on the 2020 Youth Rally are still able to attend this Rally if they are interested. Please sign up online here. This new seminar will be held on the fourth Saturday of each month from 10:30 a.m–1:30 p.m. This is a one-lesson seminar (you don't need to come each month). It covers what it means to be a part of our congregation and how we can partner in the Gospel to get more Jesus to more people. We hope to have every member (new and old) go through this seminar! Join us when it works for you! Lunch is provided along with babysitting. Junior Lancer Wrestling Tournament (Feb. 26) is looking for donations. If you can help please speak with Tamara Schultz. 

Midweek Lenten Worship begins on March 2. We will worship at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. This year we will look at what Jesus looks for in the local church on the basis of the 7 letters to 7 churches in Revelation 2-3. Join us! 

Soup Suppers will begin on Ash Wednesday, March 2. We will serve after the morning service and at 6:15 before the evening service. Please contact Tamara Schultz if you are able to make soup. Let her know when you can help and what soup  you will make.  

Join us in the church band as we prepare for Easter worship. Rehearsals will be Tuesday, Feb. 15 and 22 at 6:30 p.m. at school 

Choir meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the church balcony. Please join us! 

On Friday, Feb. 25 our grade school will present a concert at 6:30 p.m. in the gym. The school band will perform. Each instrumentalist will also perform a solo. Please come and support our young musicians. 

Join us on Saturday, Feb. 26, 12:00-2:00 p.m. for a 5 Senses Rainbow Sensory Play Time at Morrison Zion Lutheran School. This free event is open to the public, and recommended for children ages 2-5.  Learn more here or click to register here. We hope you can join us and bring a friend!

Save the Date for Vacation Bible School! This free event will be at Morrison Zion Lutheran School, Tuesday, July 12-Thursday, July 14, 9:00-11:00am. The Commons Bible Study will meet in the church basement this Sunday. We will join the Romans Study this Sunday. 

Romans—Part Two Study will meet this Sunday at 9;15 a.m. in the basement. We will look at lesson 4, God’s grace triumphs in our relations with others, Romans 12. The commons study will meet with us this week. Join us and grow!

Sunday School meets at 9:15 am at school. Children ages 3 to grade 6 are invited to join. Older students are welcome to help assist with the young class or participate in the commons Bible Study. More teachers are needed as well. Please talk to Pastor Enderle if you can help from time to time.   

Youth Group meets for study and open gym Sundays at 7:00 p.m. We are looking at the hope that we have as Christians found in 1 Peter. 

Sunday Night Book Discussion will meet this Sunday. We will begin, Being Lutheran. We meet at Nickel Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Park in the triangle and enter through the glass doors. Join us! 

New Life in Christ Class will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. We will continue to look at the 10 commandments. Join us if you are able! 

Bible study for those in their 20s and 30s will move to a new day of the week and location. Watch the announcements and social media for updates!  

Men's Study normally meets every other week on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. in the church basement. We will meet Monday, Feb. 21 at 7:00 p.m. to take a look at the worship readings. Join us! 

During the Epiphany season the members of the MLHS federation congregations are encouraged to give support to the campaign with pledges or donations.

Soup For Souls Meals continue to be available at school and at church for all to share the message of Jesus love with others. Don't forget to include a card with the meal when you deliver it to a friend/ neighbor.

We have a new volunteer area on our website at   https://mzluth.org/volunteer/ where you can look for ways to serve others. You will find different opportunities at different times where you can use your gifts and talents to glorify God.

We want to keep the entire congregation informed about events. One way we do this is with weekly announcements. Please send your announcements to ottrr@mzluth.org by Tuesday evening. This allows the announcements to be done and sent to the people who put them on the slides for worship. Thanks!
