Call News

To the members of Morrison Zion,

Jeremiah 29:11 states: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Late in October, the Lord led the voters of St. Paul’s Lutheran in Livonia, Michigan to call me to be their kindergarten teacher. As I took the time once again to reflect on my current and potential ministries, thank you for your kind thoughts, words of encouragement, and most importantly, your prayers, as I considered where I could best serve. Through prayers, reflection, and God’s guidance, the Lord has led me to accept the call. It has been a joy serving the people of Morrison Zion. When the time comes for me to depart this summer, I will be leaving with wonderful memories of friendship and ministry. I am truly blessed to have served such a wonderful congregation. You are all in my prayers as you seek to replace my teaching position. Remember that God has a plan, and his ways are always good!

Your sister in Christ,

Hannah Holzhueter
