Thank you to everyone who joined us for worship last week. We had 210 worship in person and 43 online. That is 34.1% of our membership. Continue to encourage your brothers and sisters in Christ to stay close to Jesus through faithful use of the Word and the sacraments!

Fall Festival

Thanks to all who helped and joined the Fall Festival last week. More information concerning the Free Will Donations for Mission Journeys and the Good Samaritan Fund from the Bake Sale and Pumpkin purchases will be shared next week.

Events

10th Anniversary in Ministry

Join us Sunday, Oct. 24 after the 10:30 service as we celebrate 10 years in the ministry for Pastor Enderle and Mrs. Muchka. The Jr. Choir will sing during the service followed by a short program in church. Refreshments will be served in the church basement after the service. Please join us!

Youth Group Corn Maze

Youth Group Corn Maze will be Oct. 23, 5:00-8:00p.m. We will go to Polly’s Pumpkin Patch. Please RSVP to Pastor Enderle james.enderle@mzls.org by Oct. 17. Price will be around $5 if we have enough to get group rates.

School Plays

School plays will be performed Thursday, Oct. 21 (10:00 a.m.) and Friday, Oct. 22 (7:00 p.m.) 4K, 5K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades will perform their plays or songs. Please join us!

Bible Studies

Romans Study

This Sunday we will look at Romans 3:21-28. We meet at 9:15 a.m. in the basement.

Sunday School

Sunday School for children age 3 to Grade 6 meets at 9:15 a.m. at school. Join us this week for Lesson 6:Wise Men Worship — Magi

Parenting Study

Parenting Bible Study continues this Sunday at 9:15 a.m. in the commons at school. Join us when you take your children to Sunday School! This week we look at Lesson 5: Passing the Baton

Youth Group

Youth Group Study will meet this Sunday at 7:00 p.m.. We are looking at the hope that we have as Christians found in 1 Peter.

Sunday Night Book Discussion

This Sunday we will not meet this week or next. On Oct 31 we will discuss chapter 8, Creeds and Confessions of Your Questions, Scripture’s Answers. We meet at Nickel Funeral home at 7:00 p.m.

New Life in Christ

New Life in Christ will not meet on Monday at 6:30 p.m. We will meet again on Nov. 1 to begin a new session (Lesson 1). We meet in the Bible Study room in the church basement. If you or someone you know, would like to review the basic teachings of the Bible or explore membership at Zion, this is the class for you!

Men's Study

Men's Study will meet Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the church basement. We are studying 2 Thessalonians. Join us this week!

Women's Study

Women’s Bible Study meets Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.

Choir

Choir meets on Wednesdays. Rehearsals are at 7:00 p.m. in the church balcony. Open to all again! Please join us!

MZLS Athletics

MZLS Athletics is having a fundraiser in partnership with Braun Acres to support the ongoing costs of the athletic programs. We are selling Christmas wreaths and planters. Click here to order. Curbside pick-up will be in the school parking lot on Sunday, November 28. Thanks in advance for your support!

Planting Gospel Seeds

Place a seed on the picture in the back of church when you talk about Jesus outside of worship. The seeds are on each side of the double doors. Whenever you are at church put up a seed for each time you shared Jesus!

Streaming Worship

Streaming Worship is live on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and then available after that on YouTube and Facebook at your convenience. Please register online or text 920-362-7118 so we know who is worshipping with us!

Soup For Souls

Soup For Souls Meals continue to be available at school and at church for all to share the message of Jesus love with others. Don't forget to include a card with the meal when you deliver it to a friend/ neighbor.

Volunteer Sign Up

We have a new volunteer area on our website at https://mzluth.org/volunteer/ where you can look for ways to serve others. You will find different opportunities at different times where you can use your gifts and talents to glorify God.

Announcements

We want to keep the entire congregation informed about events. One way we do this is with weekly announcements. Please send your announcements to ottrr@mzluth.org by Tuesday evening. This allows the announcements to be done and sent to the people who put them on the slides for worship. Thanks!
