James Enderle grew up in Lee’s Summit, a suburb of Kansas City, MO. James graduated from Nebraska Lutheran High School in 2002, Martin Luther College in 2006, and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2011. He spent 2006-2007 teaching English in China. James served as a vicar (intern) at Beautiful Savior in College Station, TX. After graduating from the Seminary in 2011, James was called to serve as a missionary to East Asia to plant churches for 8 years. There he studied Mandarin in universities for 4 years and later became a PhD Philosophy student. James enjoys time with family, apologetics, music, books, movies, sports, CrossFit and good conversation. James met and married Jennifer (Draeger) while she was in East Asia as well. They married in 2015. Jen enjoys long distance running (2 full marathons and several half marathons), the outdoors, art, healthy living and being a mom. Their son Isaiah was born in 2016, their daughter Onycha was born in 2019, and their son Elisha was born in 2021. The Enderle family enjoys biking, traveling, board games, sports and food.

James was installed as pastor on April 28, 2019 at Morrison Zion to focus on outreach, youth group, ministry to 18-30-year-olds, and other responsibilities.
