Dear members of Morrison Zion Lutheran Church and School,
As many of you know, I got engaged a couple weekends ago in Milwaukee. God-willing, we will be married this coming summer, 2022. After a lot of prayer and discussion, we have decided that I will be moving to the Lake Mills area this summer where my fiancé is a teacher and coach at Lakeside Lutheran High School. Because of this, I must resign my call here at Morrison Zion at the end of the school year. God has richly blessed me by making this place my first assignment. I will greatly miss the people I have met, friends I have made, and students I have gotten to know over the last couple of years. You will all hold a special place in my heart. Thank you all for continued prayers. May God continue to bless the ministry here at Morrison Zion.
In Christ,
Miss Sophie Birner |

Dear Members,
I received a divine call from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Livonia, Michigan, to teach Kindergarten. I am humbled with the privilege of the two calls I now hold and ask you to keep me in your prayers. As I prayerfully deliberate the two calls, I encourage you to share your questions and comments with me, as I consider how my gifts may best serve the kingdom of God.
In Christ,
Hannah Holzhueter |

Please also follow the link or use the sign up sheets in the basement to let us know how many children you plan to drop off for babysitting. You can use the babysitting and do other activities than the couples dinner. |

There are sheets on the table in the basement you can fill out to hang in church for Thanksgiving. The sheets say “I am thankful for…” You can draw a picture or write a list of thanks for which you thank God. Please have them in the basket in the basement by Nov. 21. Thanks! |
| |
When you commune, please take the time to check your name on the sheets in the back of church, by the elevator, or in the basement. Thanks! |
| |

We have a new volunteer area on our website at https://mzluth.org/volunteer/ where you can look for ways to serve others. You will find different opportunities at different times where you can use your gifts and talents to glorify God. |
| |
We want to keep the entire congregation informed about events. One way we do this is with weekly announcements. Please send your announcements to ottrr@mzluth.org by Tuesday evening. This allows the announcements to be done and sent to the people who put them on the slides for worship. Thanks! |
